1) If your phone continues to give you an error message when you click 'MODERNPORTABLE' in your Bluetooth settings menu, please turn your Bluetooth off, restart your phone, turn the Bluetooth back on and try again.
2) If you continue to have problems connecting or the Selfie Stick does not appear in your Bluetooth settings menu, make sure the Selfie Stick is turned on (blue flashing light) and hold the top button (camera button) on your selfie stick for 3 seconds. Open your Bluetooth settings again and scan for the Selfie Stick.
The first thing to cause this would be a low battery. Please make sure the battery is charged.
If the battery is fully charged and the blue light still doesn't show after pressing the Power button, try to hold the power button for 3 seconds, release it, then press the power button again.
Your Selfie Stick will turn off when your camera isn't being used on your mobile device. Just press the power button once to turn the Selfie Stick back on (the blue light will flash when you turn it on again). If your device was already paired successfully, your smart phone will connect to the Selfie Stick automatically.
Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that the zoom buttons work on your smart phone model. The zoom buttons work on Android systems but may not work on the latest iOS operating systems.
